Coors Banquet x Ross Reels

I voyaged down the Gunnison River before dawn. I learned more about fly fishing than I ever thought I would. And i got to art direct and represent Coors Banquet from a creative perspective during this collaboration with renowned reel producer, Ross Reels. Two Colorado-born brands came together to create a limited-edition reel for a good cause and our team was tasked to create and advise from conception through shoot through collateral and POS. This was a lesson in storytelling that allowed us to craft the message of the partnership and all they are doing for the land they love so much. We are currently in the process for shooting year two of the program and evolving the story of these two brands coming together.

Part 1: The Origin
With the client’s excitement from the long-form video, we were green lit for an additional set of short videos to run on social channels. The first one allowed us to craft the story of how the partnership came together and what they stand for in coming together.
Part 2: The Purpose
The second part of our story allowed us to talk about the compelling reasons that these brands came together, to make efforts to preserve and support the environmental efforts in their own backyards. This also tied to our POS seen across Colorado and its neighboring states, letting shoppers know that they were supporting clean water initiatives with their purchase.
Part 3: The Payoff
In the finale of our series, we get down to the heart of the partnership—that beer and fishing just belong together. These two companies came together to make a limited edition reel to not only help preserve their birthplaces, but to bring people together for a cold beer after a day on the water.
